Children with autism may display behaviors that impair their ability to participate and think clearly in a classroom. These behaviors include but are not limited to disruption, aggression, and difficulty in completing a task.
The AutisMusic project therefore aims to develop an educational toolkit for teacher trainers to support teachers in enhancing the emotional, motivational, interpersonal, and social responsiveness of children with autism through music interventions and practices.
This toolkit will enable teachers to facilitate the inclusion of children with autism in mainstream classroom environments.
